Hexarelin (also called Examorelin) is a growth hormone–releasing peptide (GHRP). It stimulates your body to release growth hormone (GH) from the pituitary gland.
It acts mainly by activating the ghrelin (GHS-R1a) receptor.
⸻
What Hexarelin Does in the Body
Increases Growth Hormone (GH)
Hexarelin strongly stimulates:
•Pulsatile GH release
•IGF-1 production (via the liver)
This can potentially lead to:
•Increased muscle protein synthesis
•Improved recovery
•Increased fat metabolism
•Improved sleep quality
⸻
May Increase Appetite
Because it activates the same receptor as ghrelin:
•Hunger may increase
•Some people notice stronger appetite signals
Less appetite stimulation than GHRP-6, but still possible.
⸻
Cardiovascular Effects
Some animal and limited human studies suggest Hexarelin may:
•Improve cardiac contractility
•Protect heart tissue after damage
•Improve left ventricular function
This is one reason it has been studied in heart failure research.
⸻
Possible Body Composition Effects
Indirectly via GH/IGF-1:
•Increased lean mass
•Reduced fat mass
•Enhanced recovery from training
Results depend heavily on dose, duration, and baseline GH levels.
Hexarelin:
Signals your brain to release more growth hormone.
Which may lead to:
•More muscle recovery
•Fat metabolism support
•Improved sleep
•Possible heart benefits
